Project Positive Campaign
This campaign was part of Project Positive, Seattle University Recreation’s annual weeklong initiative promoting body positivity, self-acceptance, and mental health.
I led the planning, organization, and execution of the event schedule, developed a targeted social media campaign, and produced engaging video and photo content to effectively communicate the campaign’s message.
After my first year on the planning committee in 2022, I was promoted to Campaign Director, where I managed a team of six interns, overseeing all aspects of the campaign’s execution. I will have executed this campaign in February 2022-2025.

Social Media Campaign
Developed a campaign to promote the event’s messages, events, and to get engagement on social media through creative content and outreach.

Planned and organized a weeklong series of events featuring uplifting messages to foster community participation. Coordinated outreach to campus organizations and local community groups to encourage collaboration and engagement.

Created tailored and sharable content tailored to the campaign. By analyzing and using current social media trends at the time, I was able to have the message of body positivity resonate with a younger audience.
Social Media Campaigns
February 2022-2025
Over the course of my involvement with Project Positive, I’ve created and marketed over 50 highly tailored social media posts, averaging 15 posts per annual campaign, to successfully promote the initiative’s message. Each post was strategically designed to resonate with the target audience, leveraging current social media trends and aligning with the campaign’s themes of body positivity, self-acceptance, and mental health.
I conducted thorough research on emerging trends in posts and videos, ensuring content was engaging and relevant, particularly for a Gen Z audience. Additionally, I collaborated closely with graphic designers to bring my creative vision to life, such as an Instagram story countdown that built anticipation and encouraged event participation.
Recap Video
Filmed, edited, and produced a final video that captured the highlights and impact of the weeklong event. Coordinated with event participants and organizers to gather footage, conducted interviews to showcase diverse perspectives, and carefully curated the content to align with the campaign's message. Managed the entire production process, including storyboarding, video editing, and post-production, to deliver a polished and engaging final product that effectively communicated the event's success and community impact.
Following Trends
Created a video tailored to a Gen Z audience by incorporating current TikTok and social media trends. The video showcases participants dressed in the event's theme color, blue, while still having their style. By highlighting individuality, the footage captures authentic moments that resonate with the audience, enhancing engagement and creating a strong connection with the campaign's message.

February 2023-2025
I took charge of event planning by contacting community partners and initiatives aligned with our campaign message of body positivity and self-care. I organized various events, including on-campus activities, community gatherings, and guest speakers from local organizations to engage and educate students.
In addition to overseeing the logistics, I coordinated my team to conduct outreach, ensuring we established meaningful connections and secured participation from diverse partners. Balancing leadership, outreach, event planning, and execution, I successfully managed multiple aspects of the campaign while driving its marketing efforts.

Through my experiences, I have gained valuable skills in team management, effectively leading and mentoring groups to achieve shared goals. I’ve learned how to grow with a company, adapting to new challenges and taking on increasing responsibilities. My expertise extends to social media strategy, event planning, and coordination, where I’ve successfully developed campaigns and executed large-scale events.
Additionally, I’ve honed my abilities in strategic marketing, content creation, and fostering community engagement, all while maintaining a focus on delivering impactful, meaningful results.
